Easter Eggs for Our Kreative Karma!

Hello All My Crafty Friends!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!  It is my turn to post on the Our Kreative Karma blog and the theme this month was our choice of  Easter, Pastels or Spring.  I went with Easter!

I have two versions of this card to share. The first card is the card I made for my daughter.

This card was a file from the Silhouette store.  I simply layered the patterned and solid card stock
on each egg, then embellished each with my I Rock and a "diamond"!
I embossed the solid colored egg as well, using my Cuttlebug and the Swiss Dots embossing folder.

Here is a side shot of the card. I really liked this card since it is sort of a "Shaped Card".  I like the design of the card and how the egg shapes pop up above the card just a little bit!

Inside, the simple sentiment "Happy Easter" was stamped using Pink By Design stamps!

The next card is another version of the same card, just using different papers.
.I did this card very similar to the first card, embossing the solid colored eggs.

Here is the Pink By Design Stamped Sentiment on the inside of the card. I cut another egg shape for the sentiment and sized it to be hidden from the front of the card.
Thank you for stopping by today. I would love for you to take a moment to leave a comment!
Wishing you all a very Happy Easter and Happy Spring!
I hope Spring will actually arrive soon!  We had snow earlier this week!

We will choose ONE winner next week!

Here is my project for today's Hop:

I created a super cute Owl Bag using a file from the Silhouette Store.

I thought I would make her look nice and "Springy" and ready for warmer weather! She is "dressed" in scalloped layers from a Carta Bella 6X6 paper pad called "Paris Girl". I inked the edges of all the papers to make them pop a bit.

This sweet owl wanted to really be dressed for this fun blog hop, so I popped an adorable pink fabric flower from the Pinque Peacock in her "hair".
Here is a view of the side of the owl bag - you can see her wings, which I bent a bit for added interest!
This little owl really does like to get "fancy" so I used some pretty pink ribbon from my
stash to use as a closure and give this sweet little owl  a bow for her hair!
That is my project for today!  I hope you are having fun hopping along with us!
Please head over to the lovely and talented Norma G's blog at

Here's the complete line up just in case you get lost along the way.

Spring Pastels and a New Color Challenge!

Hello All My Fellow Crafters!
Today is my day to post for the Cuttin' and Stampin' Design Team

#11
Challenge:   Color Challenge, Pink, Blue, Green and Yellow.
(it does not have to be an A Muse stamp set)
Dates:  March 19, 2013 thru March 25, 2013

Hello All My Fellow Crafters!
Today is my day to post for the Cuttin' and Stampin' Design Team.
I hope this finds everyone healthy and happy! Well it is now officially

SPRING
and we at Cuttin' and Stampin' are getting into the Spring Mode with using
pretty Spring like colors this week!
Let's take a quick peek at the card I made for you today using the Challenge Colors Of Pink, Blue, Green and Yellow!
I know that I am eager for the weather to start behaving like Spring,
but here in the Dayton, Ohio area it has not happened yet.

It will be nice to get outdoors and I am hoping my foot will soon be able to
allow me to get outside for some walks!

I made this card with this cute bicycle for my daughter, who loves to bike.
She's going to school in Boston and rides her bike there quite a bit.
I used the Amuse Studio Stamp set called Vintage A Muse.
(Available by shopping with Tammy HERE!!)

I colored the bike in using colored pencils and made it yellow since
my daughter's bike is yellow. I inked the edges yellow as well.
It is not showing up but I have a little touch of green on the Kick Stand.
I used the sentiment "Keep Calm. Ride On" from the same stamp set as well.
The pretty sky blue paper is from Amuse Studio as well...I just love
the weight of their paper.
Check out that pretty ribbon that I tied around the card!
Yep, also from Amuse Studio -

and it is called Chevron Bermuda.
So pretty!
You may wonder where the PINK is on my project?
Well, I stamped my name in PINK INK on the back of the card...
then SILLY ME forgot to take a photo of that!
I am sorry!
Be sure your project for the Challenge includes all 4 colors where we can see them!
Sorry for my mistake!
I hope this gives you a bit of inspiration to get working on some spring time projects
using Pink, Blue, Green and Yellow!

Remember, if you need any supplies to be sure to check out Tammy's Store
right HERE

We'd love you to link up and join our challenge!

Recent Cards

Hello My Crafty Friends!
Today I just wanted to share a couple of recent cards I made!
This first card was a Thank You cards for some friends who helped me celebrate my recent birthday.
This card was sent out before St. Patty's Day, so I thought the shamrock theme was cute.
I also had quite a few friend's and family members have birthdays in the month of March.
First a card for a guy who is quite the deer hunter:

I created a layer to make it look like it was mounted on a plaque for display
and used foam layering tape to give it dimension.

This card was for a friend who brews his own beer:
I created the top layer of this mug in Velum so that it has a frosted look to it!
(That is not showing up so well in the photo)

I mounted the beer mug on an Action Wobble so it would have some movement!

I just thought it would be fun to share some of the projects I've made that were not for a design team!

I hope you enjoyed them!  I would love to get your comments!
Thanks so much for dropping by!
More Design Team projects coming up soon!

I am sharing this over at Sarah's Link Up Tuesday blog!

"Pink" and "Spring-y:!

Hello My Crafty Friends!
Today I am excited to share with you my first post for the Pinque Peacock Design Team!
You may remember when I excitedly made the announcement that I was selected for the team!

Today I would like to share with you a pretty card I made using some pretty pastel colors.  One of our creative options this month as a Pinquette was to use pastel colors in our design.
I started with some BEAUTIFUL fabric covered buttons from the Pinque Peacock Store- click on the word "store" to be taken directly to these buttons!
How pretty are those buttons??
When I first looked at these buttons, they did scream "spring" to me and also "flowers".  How would I make these buttons turn into flowers for my project?  Well as the pretty centers, no doubt!
I cut 3 different types of flowers using both my old Trusty Cricut and also using my
Silhouette Cameo!

How perfect are the button centers!
I added a swirl of leaves and then mounted the card using a backgroud made
with  a Cuttlebug folder.

I used foam mounting squares to give dimension to these pretty flowers!
I am just "tickeld pink" to be able to share with you today! I would love for you to stop by my blog at
and take a look around!
Thank you so much for visiting us at the Pinque Peacock. Please head over to the shop to see such lovely Springtime items for your projects!
